MUSEUMS

The Laurel Museum is housed in a former 1840 mill worker’s home. The museum houses collections of books, photographs, tools, personal artifacts, textiles and oral histories. The Montpelier Mansion was built in the 1780’s as a plantation for agriculture and iron production. RIVERFRONT PARK
