April 15, 2019 – Tammy Hay has been selected as the Director of Life Enrichment for the Health Center and assisted living at The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant.  She was previously the Director of Activities at sister senior living community Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, where she served for over 20 years.

Hay is Activity Director Certified by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals and is a Geriatric Nursing Assistant.  She is a former board member for the Maryland Activity Coordinator Society (MACS), where she served as Conference Chair for many years. She now represents MACS at the National Association of Activity Professionals.

As part of her new role, Hay will direct recreation programs that focus on wellness, physical fitness, cognitive enrichment, and social interaction to enhance the quality of life for residents in assisted living and long-term care.  She lives in Union Bridge with her fiancé Tom and three dogs.
